The first foal of 2011 has arrived!

Dam - Zippin Tiger Lilly - Sire - RVA Prom Annette Son

Pretty little grulla filly born March 9th. She is very feisty and playful. Shayna has named her Honey and she is very sweet. She loves to be scratched and loved on, I will add new pictures when she sheds her baby fuzz because she is going to be gorgeous!

Second Foal of 2011

Dam - Jacks Poco Belle, Sire - RVA Prom Annette Son

This stocky stud colt has some pretty interesting markings on him. Notice on his right side, it almost looks like someone reading or maybe praying. He is a character and was ready to get out and stretch his legs after being in the barn over night! Shayna has named him Stein, as in R.L. Stein because of his markings on his side. Obviously I'll have to come up with a registered name but Stein seems to have stuck as a barn name. This guy is built like a brick building and is very friendly, typical of Belle's foals. He is going to be a great project horse!

Palomino Colt

Dam - Miss Creamy Red Buck, Sire - RVA Prom Annette Son

Flashy Golden Palomino colt with lots of chrome! He is a little spit fire too, loves to run and play and drive Mom nuts because he won't stay by her side. This little guy is getting more and more friendly, he loves the center of his back scratched. It's hard to tell yet if he is going to be a golden or a buttermilk palomino but regardless he is going to be pretty!

Sorrel Filly

Dam - Its A Zippy Babe, Sire - RVA Prom Annette Son

Star Star

Another beautiful baby from Babe & Dillon, she is a corker! She has just a star and a little white on a back foot. She is really playful and thinks Mom should be her playmate, Mom isn't so sure! We always keep our babies separated for a few days to make sure everything is OK and this one will be really glad to get back out to pasture! Babe hates being kept in from pasture too so they may go back early. Star is going to be a big girl, just look at those long legs, she is a little shy yet but she does like to have her neck scratched.

Bay Filly

Dam - Tiffanys Blue Flame, Sire - RVA Prom Annette Son

Tiff

Well Tiff waited long enough but she finally had a beautiful bay roan filly with just a little crescent shaped star and a little snip. She is going to be beautiful and she is really quick! We had a terrible hail storm with baseball size hail the day after she was born. We were sure she would either be severely injured or dead when we found her but not a mark on her! Luckily the horses were in the far North end of the pasture and the hail wasn't as large or severe there. Can't wait to see this pretty girl grow!
