4B Farms 2009 Foals by RVA Prom Annette Son "Dillon"
All 2009 foals are Incentive Fund Eligible!
We are pleased to announce that our 2008 and 2009 foals are going to be trained by the Horse Program students at Colby Community College. They will take these foals all the way from desensitizing and halter training to saddle training. When they are finished with their training process they will be long 2 year olds or 3 year olds and ready to go on with their riding careers. After the students have finished their training the colts will be offered for sale as private treaty or in the spring sale that CCC has every year. They have a lot of color and excellent temperaments and conformation. Whether you are looking for your next Futurity prospect, or working ranch horse, barrel horse, or trail horse we can probably help you. For more information about how you can own one of these outstanding horses please contact us.
First 2009 Foal- Shiner- Hollys First Baldy and RVA Prom Annette Son
This is Dillon's first 2009 colt, he is Incentive Fund eligible and has more color and more spunk than he knows what do do with! We are calling him Shiner because with his bald face he looks like he has two black eyes!
His dam is Hollys First Baldy and his sire is RVA Prom Annette Son "Dillon"
His coloring is quite interesting considering his dam is a solid bay with just one white sock and a blaze and Dillon has absolutely no white at all. I can't wait to see just how white his hind legs are going to be. Right now his front legs have white to just above the knee. I haven't checked into the exact rules, but he may be able to be registered both AQHA and APHA. He is very spunky and loves to run. Poor Mom spends most of her time trying to keep track of him!
Stud Colt #2 for 2009 - Socks - Tiffanys Blue Flame and RVA Prom Annette Son
This must be our year for lots of chrome! This little guy has 4 white socks, a big blaze and looks like he will have a coon tail and some roanning. We are calling him Socks, of course because he has 4 of them! He is also incentive fund eligible.
He is a sharp looking little guy and Tiff is really protective! This is her first foal and she doesn't want anyone (including me!) anywhere near him. I'm sure she will relax in a couple days so for now we aren't pushing her too hard to let us mess with him.
Filly #1 for 2009 - Scamper - Its A Zippy Babe and RVA Prom Annette Son
Well we finally got a filly but another sorrel! It must have been the weather this year! She is a feisty little thing and she loves to run and play so we are calling her Scamper. She is incentive fund eligible.

She has the least amount of white on her so far, but still more than her full brother did last year. She just has a white star, a little snip on her nose and 2 coronary bands. She has great muscling just as all of Dillon's colts do and a very calm and friendly temperament. She is growing nicely and despite my best efforts I cannot get many good pictures of her because she wants to be in my pocket! I will keep trying so she can have her own slide show!
Stud Colt #3 for 2009 - Cherokee - Ms. Creamy Red Buck and RVA Prom Annette Son
This little guy is gorgeous! He is going to be a palomino with 2 white socks and a blaze. Sugar (dam) had a severe accident and nearly tore her front hoof off last summer while she was pregnant with him. She want through a lot of trauma during her pregnancy and lost a lot of weight. We really thought she would probably lose her foal but she didn't. This little guys favorite thing to do is RUN at top speed around the cedar trees, around his mother, around the other mares, around the other foals, he will run and run and run, then as you can see he conks out for a little rest and is off again!
Filly #2 for 2009 - Cherry - Zippin Tiger Lilly and RVA Prom Annette Son
This is one sharp looking little filly! She is a gorgeous dark cherry bay and is going to have high black socks. She does not have a speck of white on her and boy is she fiesty! She is going to be a classy beauty, just look at that baby doll head and those long legs.
Filly #3 for 2009 - Lacey - Jacks Poco Belle and RVA Prom Annette Son
This filly is anything but little! She has legs almost as long as her Mommas! She is a pretty buckskin paint, the first few pictures were taken just hours after she was born. The last few pictures were taken the first week in July, just look at the muscle and form on this beauty! We may be keeping her!
Stud Colt #4 - Smokey - Zippos My Beau and RVA Prom Annette Son
Finally a buckskin! Seems like one per year is our limit unfortunately but he is a beauty with a thumbprint of white between his eyes, otherwise no white on him. As you can see he is a handfull! Momma is constantly chasing after him.
