We raise Boer and Boer cross meat goats for commercial and for show purposes. Wade and Shayna both show goats at the county fair and last year Wade had the Grand Champion and Reserve Grand Champions in his class. This year we are hoping to have samples of chevon/cabrito at the fair for people to sample to help promote the goat industry.
Chevon/Cabrito (Goat Meat) For Sale
Most people don't realize how good chevon/cabrito (goat meat) is to eat and how good it is for you! It is delicious and nutritious and something most Americans have never experienced. Chevon is high in protein, and lower in fat, calories, saturated fat, and cholesterol than chicken, beef, pork, or lamb! Anyone that is health conscious should seriously consider adding chevon to their diet. As you can see by the chart below, chevon is a great choice for supper!
