As with most farms things are always coming up here at 4B Farms that require us to make due with what we have at the moment. We have had more cases of that than we care to admit. So, we decided to use those situations as creative learning experiences and we are in the process of developing several products that we will soon list here. Our goal is to make someone else's day go a little smoother because they actually HAVE WHAT THEY NEED to do the job right instead of just MAKING DUE with what they can find! Two of the products are in the proto-type and patenting stage so we hope to be able to introduce them soon. Check back often!
Rocking Spur Wound Ointment
We recently found this wound treatment and honestly could not believe how well it worked. I will be adding pictures of wounds that we are currently treating so you can judge for yourself. Unfortunately I didn't think to take pictures until the 3rd day of treatment. I honestly didn't expect it to work so fast! Just take a look at these pictures:Trayce had a hail wound. It was about 4" long and about 2" wide and really ugly. We had been treating it for about 3 days before we got the Wound Ointment. 4 treatments later (2 per day) and this is how it looks. It is healing nicely and no sign of infection at all.

Trayce's shoulder is completely healed. I will try to get a closer picture but if you look at the point of his shoulder you can see his darker hair replaced the baby hair. We treated him for about 10 days, twice a day.This was a serious cut. We took Buck to the vet and she stitched the muscle internally then stitched the skin with about 35 stitches. It was looking great for about 3 days, then it started to itch and he started to rub. He popped all but 2 of the external stitches and several of the internal stitches. I could put 4 fingers inside the wound clear up to my second knuckle after he popped the stitches! This is how it looks after 3 days of treatment. I honestly have never seen anything work as fast as this Wound Ointment! As you can see from this picture the hole is gone and the flesh is healing very well. I will continue to add pictures as it heals.

Buck's hip is looking much better. It was treated for about 10 days, twice a day. 06/04/08 This is a bull's leg that got caught on a piece of steel. This is before any treatment. We will add pictures as we treat him to show you the progression. Sorry the pictures are so small, I took them with my phone.

06/17/08 Eugene can no longer use the brush to apply the ointment because there is too much feeling in the wound now. He discoverd that an oil can works great for applications like this and the bull doesn't even flinch.
This is the wound with the ointment applied. 06/17/08 It is amazing how it has healed in just 13 days!
06/29/08, 25 days after beginning treatment, it appears to be covered in hide now, and the hair has started to grow back. Take a look again at the original picture to see just how far this wound has come in 25 days!
