Please keep in mind we only allow our pups to go to APPROVED homes so don't be offended when we ask you questions about where and how our puppies will be spending the rest of their lives! Our animals are part of our family and we want them to go to people that will consider them part of their family. Buying a puppy is a long term committment and should be taken very seriously. Please be sure your family is ready for that committment before you purchase one of our puppies or a puppy from someone else.
We are only 4 hours from Denver, Colorado or less than 2 hours from Burlington, CO. We will meet you in Stratton (exit 419 on I-70). We are about 1 hour from McCook, Nebraska and we have family in the Omaha and Lincoln, NE area. We are 3 hours from Salina and 5 hours from Wichita, KS. We meet most Eastern Kansas customers at the Russell exit (exit 184 on I-70). We are willing to meet customers or deliver puppies up to 200 miles, customer is responsible for paying for fuel only.
If you are outside the surrounding states of Nebraska, Colorado, Oklahoma, or Texas we are willing to ship puppies that are at least 12 weeks old. If weather conditions are extreme puppies must be taken as a carry-on either with the customer or myself. Please contact us for more information.
Adult Miniature and Toy Australian Shepherds Available
Born in March, 2009. Lightning is a Miniature size Australian Shepherd male, Junior and Blaze are both Toy size males. We are looking for good loving homes for these guys, they MUST be neutered and that is the responsibility of the new family. They do not come with registration papers but they are free to GOOD HOMES. You must have a fenced in yard or live on a farm and be willing to give them a forever home. Please understand that these guys have never been off the farm, they have never seen traffic or the noise and confusion of living in town. It will take a very loving, understanding person to help them through the transition but I promise you that the endless love they give you in return will make it all worth while! All of our puppies and dogs are current on vaccinations, worming, dew claws removed and health checked by our vet before they will be released for adoption.
Puppies are sold as pets and with limited registration that requires written proof that they are spayed or neutered after the age of 6 months and before the age of 1 year before registration papers will be released.
If you wish to have full ASDR registration and breeding rights for your puppy there is an additional $200 fee and we reserve the right to deny full registration on any puppy for any reason.
Puppies can be shipped through a local air line to a large airport near you after 8 weeks of age. Shipping averages $500 and includes transportation to the airport, a shipping crate, and all of the necessary vet papers required to ship on the airline. Airlines only allow animals to travel if temperatures remain between 45* and 85* or they must fly in a temperature controlled cargo area. We are more than happy to meet customers within 150 miles of Grinnell, KS for just the price of round trip fuel. Longer distances are considered, however buyer must agree to pay for lodging depending on distance.
